Art installation celebrated at Kingston High School

“A Celebration of Art,” sponsored by the Kingston High School Fine Arts Boosters, takes place Feb. 21 and features the dedication of Frank Samuelson’s artwork, “Three Story Building,” installed last fall at KHS. The dedication will be followed by a wine and cheese reception at the Kingston Art Gallery at Cleo’s Landing to raise funds for fine arts programs at KHS.

The dedication takes place from 4-5 p.m. in the main foyer at KHS with the reception to follow from 5-7 p.m. Samuelson will be in attendance. He is a Port Townsend artist who has been the recipient of many awards. His works have been selected for numerous public installations, including the piece at KHS.

The public is welcome. For more information, go to www.khsfab.org or contact Cornelia Gifford at president@KHSFAB.org.

The Kingston Fine Arts Boosters is a newly formed group of parents and community members interested in supporting the arts at KHS and meets at 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month at KHS.
