ADU planned to be constructed at Raab Park

The city of Poulsbo is moving forward with having Kitsap Building Association construct an 800 square-foot, single-story accessory dwelling unit at Raab Park in the spot where the former caretaker unit used to be before it was removed a few years ago.

The City Council previously approved in its 2024 budget for a replacement unit at Raab Park. KBA approached the city with a proposal to donate its labor and time to construct one of the four pre-approved ADU plans on city-owned property, per city documents. Construction is anticipated to be expedited and aims to be completed as soon as possible.

Cost estimates for materials have not yet been determined. The project will come back to council at a future meeting for consideration of approval.
