Armed robbery

At 2:39 a.m. May 1, an officer was dispatched to 19th Street and Wycoff Avenue, responding to an armed robbery. According to the victim, who was coming from the Seattle-Bremerton ferry terminal, three black males had held him at gun point approximately 10 minutes earlier that night, stealing his wallet, cell phone, a bag of toiletries and a silver cigarette case. The victim described the suspects’ vehicle as “silvery, green and box-like,” but was unable to provide a license plate number. The confrontation, according to the victim, began after the suspects’ car passed him then circled back in his direction. The suspects ambushed the victim, holding a pistol to his temple and threatening to hurt him. After making out with the victim’s belongings, the suspects fled. The victim described each suspect, the getaway car and weapon as best he could, but no arrests were made. The incident is currently under investigation.

Brotherly love

A Greggory Apartment resident called police at 6:34 a.m. April 30, reporting she had been assaulted by her brother. After receiving a call from her roommate, asking that her brother’s girlfriend leave the apartment, the victim returned home to confront her brother and his unwanted guest. Upon the request to have his girlfriend leave, the brother became upset, grabbed his sister by the neck and pulled her shirt. While no injuries were visible, the responding officer arrested the brother for domestic violence and malicious mischief. He was book into Kitsap County Jail on $5,000 bail.
