Exotic animals

kidnapped from Kingston

Inanimate animals continue to be the victims of violation in Kingston.

The large giraffe standing in front of Barefoot Decks & Patio Covers off of Bond Road in Kingston was stolen sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, according to Kitsap County deputy reports.

Two days prior a baby elephant was taken from the same display.

Both animals were found nearby on local roads, partially concealed in tree branches and bushes.

All animals displayed are cemented into the ground.

Deputies reported it appeared the elephant was pulled out of the ground, dragged across the property and loaded into a getaway vehicle.

There were no drag marks in the ground the night the giraffe was stolen.

The giraffe was located south on Bond Road.

According to deputy reports, both animals have since been returned to the owner.
