Years of service: August 1942-July 23, 1944.

Highest rank attained: Lieutenant.

Significant duty stations or deployments during the War: Chaplain at Naval Training Station San Diego; Camp Gillespie, San Diego; deployed overseas with U.S. Marines in December 1943; died as a result of wounds sustained during the landing at Guam on July 23, 1944.
