Annual fair and stampede returns to Bremerton, August 24-28

Are you looking forward to getting out this summer to enjoy some dizzying rides, take in some great live shows, and witness the thrill of the rodeo?

Sponsored by the Kitsap Bank, the 99th annual Kitsap Fair and Stampede is packed full of fun and exciting events and features for the whole family to enjoy!

“After the last two years people are desperate to get out for some great entertainment,” says Fair Director Rich Nestor. “We’re very excited to offer the community the opportunity to experience the fair and rodeo back in full swing!”

Returning this year is the best carnival in the west, brought to you by Funtastic Traveling Shows, featuring a spectacular array of carnival rides and games. You’ll find all the rides in one designated area, so family members of all ages can enjoy the fun together.

Free live entertainment for this year’s fair will include a fantastic variety of performers:

Also featured is the always thrilling Rodeo and Xtreme Bulls. The Rodeo will be held Wednesday through Friday evenings starting at 7 p.m., with seven events: bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, and bull riding. Xtreme Bulls will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The Destruction Derby IS BACK!

“We weren’t able to have the Destruction Derby last year, so we’re very happy that it will be back this year for everyone to enjoy,” Nestor says.

The derby takes place on Sunday, and is brought to you by the Kitsap Destruction Derby Association. Feel the rumble, see the crashes, and hear the motors roar with oval races, figure-eights, and a finale that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
