Lori Lee Hagen | Passages

POULSBO — Lori Lee Hagen passed away on Nov. 5 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. She was 58.

She was born on March 31, 1958 and graduated from North Kitsap High School. She was the first female to be licensed as a tugboat hand in the state of Washington. Lori enjoyed the Fourth of July in Kingston, where she competed in and won many women’s lumberjack competitions. She loved camping, fishing, rock hounding and exploring new areas.

Lori could always find treasures at a garage sale. One never saw her without one of her dogs. She also owned a raccoon and a hedgehog as pets.

She is survived by her children, Joshuan and Jerame Vaughn; life mate, James Meyer; brother, Doug Hagen (Phyllis and family); and sister, Karla Nolen (Michael and family).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin B. Hagen and Alta E. Haman.
