Lifelong War returns to The Charleston in Bremerton

Bremerton hardcore punk band Life Long War returns to The Charleston Music Venue, 333 N. Callow Ave., Bremerton, at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, along with an array of other punk bands. They’ll share the stage with Curse of the North, Grenades, Rory OK & The Worst Band Ever and Earth Come Evil. A night of local rock hits the Chuck the following night, starting with Seattle band Annamercury at 7 p.m., followed by Back From the Blind, Dumb It Down, Martyr Machine and Bremerton’s Throw Back the Rope, Saturday, Sept. 18.

Punk metal band Sickamore hits the stage with music influenced by 1980’s punk music like Misfits and Black Flag and more recent rock like Marilyn Manson starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 at Winterland, 1220 Sylvan Way, Bremerton. The band is joined by The Heimlich Failed and Beneaath the Kaos.

The Clampdown, a Clash tribute band, will kick off the night at Winterland at 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, followed by Midnight Salvage Co.

Micheal Herschman returns with his saxophone stylings from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 at Silverdale’s Old Town Bistro, 3388 NW Byron St. Guitar duo Bruce and Melissa will play from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18.

Tacoma’s Michael Crane band will make its one appearance with classic cover music from 7-11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 at Moondogs, Too 714 Bay St., Port Orchard. Pulp Fiction-inspired band Zed’s Dead will make an appearance with rock music from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 at Moondogs. Kids are welcome to Moondogs until 8 p.m. every night.
