Kitsap kids perform “Bye Bye Birdie”

Kitsap Children’s Musical Theatre will feature several kids from Kingston in their up-coming version of “Bye Bye Birdie” at the North Kitsap Auditorium.

Kitsap Children’s Musical Theatre will feature several kids from Kingston in their up-coming version of “Bye Bye Birdie” at the North Kitsap Auditorium.

Performances will be held on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. May 2, 3, 9 and 10. Sunday shows will be held at 5 p.m. May 4 and 11. Tickets are available at the door for $8 per seat.

KCMT’s mission is to provide youth a creative outlet in a positive learning environment through professional, Broadway-type theatrical experience. This will be KCMT’s 14th production.

“Bye Bye Birdie” is one of the most captivating musical shows of our time. It is a satire done with the fondest affection, and tells the story of a rock-and-roll singer who is about to be inducted into the army.
