The theme for this year’s pageant was “Welcome to Hollywood.”

Miss Viking Fest contestants compete for the title, scholarship money, and the honor of serving in a ceremonial role during Viking Fest, which celebrates Norway’s Constitution Day. This year’s three-day celebration — which includes a parade, carnival, live music, races, and the lutefisk-eating contest — is May 20-22.

The Miss Viking Fest title also gives the holder the opportunity to put the spotlight on their personal cause. During her tenure, Moss will do a project to encourage organ donations.
