Being a Republican since Ronald Reagan was elected to office, I have seen our political differences become wider and wider. Along with that, the divisiveness has become so harsh it has stopped people from actually getting involved.

It’s why I am so glad the local Democratic Party has endorsed Beth Worthington for school board.

I have heard Beth speak to educational issues in forums and followed her and out school board over the past four years. She is committed to a quality public education for our North Kitsap community. She is open to other views and shows a willingness to actually hear what you have to say.

Perhaps a strange request from this Republican, but consider voting for Beth Worthington because she is not on the side of Republicans or Democrats, she is on the side of our kids. Vote Beth Worthington for North Kitsap School Board director.
