I enjoyed reading about the Weavers in the February issue of Kingston Community News (This ‘N’ That, February). I often wondered just who the Weavers were.

We moved to Hansville from Indianola in 2000 after building a house on 360th Street. I often questioned the name of our street (360th) in a rural setting. I’ve thought off and on of renaming the “street,” it’s not even paved. We are on a well system shared with three other families and our system is called the Weaver Pass Water Association.

So you asked for ideas. Well, I propose that 360th Street be renamed to Weaver Pass Road. It’d be a true-sounding rural road name and it is just down the line from the old Weaver residence.

Just a thought.
