Marc Bissonnette has served as a commissioner for the Port of Kingston for 12 years. After two terms, Marc made the decision to ask the voters to elect a new commissioner to replace him.
Reflecting back on the many port meetings that I attended, Marc was an independent, informed, intelligent and influential voice on the board. He leaves the board of commissioners to join a long list of predecessors who have made the Port of Kingston the best port in Puget Sound, with one of the lowest costs to taxpayers.
Marc has been most instrumental in carrying on the outstanding port stewardship and in expanding the benefits we so much enjoy in little unincorporated Kingston. I and the community owe Mr. Bissonnette a sincere “thank you.”
Thank you, Marc.
