Our scholars and schools need our levy support

Xi Jinping is China’s most powerful leader in years and has total control of the country’s 1.4 billion people, advancing his leadership role abroad, and he said China will take center stage in the world. A Singapore newspaper, “The Straits Times,” said some countries are hoping for a counter-effort by what is called the “Quad” — the United States, Japan, Australia and India.

This is just a peek at the challenges facing our children in today’s world. In the meantime, have you visited a school building or classroom? Teachers must cope with cell phones, the internet and tons of information, while trying to help decide what is fact and what is fiction. Our children must become our future, city, county, state and national leaders — our scientists, attorneys, mechanics, etc.

Vote yes on Feb. 13 for our scholars and schools. Our support is crucial. Go to the polls and vote yes.
