On May 8 while shopping, I lost my wallet — and have no idea where — and with it a trove of plastic documents of one kind and another and a modicum of paper currency, followed by no little distress.
I was hoping to receive a telephone call, telling me someone found my wallet. But no luck, and by May 11 I was resigned to having lost the wallet for good.
Imagine my surprise and joy the morning of May 11, when I looked in our UPS box and found my wallet wrapped in an Albertsons plastic bag in pristine condition, but without a note letting me know who the good person was.
To this good citizen and kind neighbor, I wish to publicly call down heavenly blessings and extend profuse earthly thanks. Praise too!
