Local State Farm agents earn awards

Dave Helgeson of Port Orchard, David Lee of Silverdale and Doug Smith of Bremerton earned recognition within State Farm’s Legion of Honor.

The honor is bestowed upon agents for excellence in business and quality service in meeting the needs of their customers.

Smith earned the Crystal Excellence award, one of the highest honors attainable by a State Farm agent. The Crystal Excellence designation is given to agents who have been named to the Legion of Honor in 20 of the last 24 years, or a total of 25 years. He is one of 10 State Farm agents in Washington to earn the award.

Helgeson earned the Bronze Tablet, an honor given to agents achieving Legion of Honor status in five of the last six years.
