New apartments proposed on NE Hostmark

POULSBO—More apartments appear to be in the offing in Poulsbo.

Poulsbo 40 of Kirkland has passed the latest hurdle in its effort to expand its Peninsula Glen and the Woodcreek apartment complexes on NE Hostmark Street and combine the two parcels of land into one 9.52 acre site through a boundary line adjustment.

The Poulsbo Planning and Economic Development Department found that the proposed construction will have no adverse environmental impact.

The plan calls for constructing three additional buildings on the site — one building with 12 units, and two buildings with six units each. When completed, the expansion would add 18 one-bedroom units and six two-bedroom units to the city’s apartment inventory.
