POULSBO — John and Laura Nesby’s MorMor Bistro & Bar, for 10 years a venue for Northwest cuisine, wine dinners and foodie events, will become The Green Light Diner in February.
The family owns a highly successful retro diner, the Big Apple Diner, in Bremerton.
In an announcement distributed by The RockFish Group, the Nesbys said The Green Light Diner will serve breakfast all day, as well as lunch, dinner, beer, wine and “a special selection of fun takes on traditional cocktails,” and will feature a retro soda fountain.
“The Green Light Diner will offer a broad, fun, affordable menu in a totally revamped setting with a vintage throwback diner flare,” they said in the announcement.
The restaurant’s last day as MorMor Bistro will be Dec. 29. The Nesbys will host an open house from 5-8 p.m. “to thank our customers for their support.”
MorMor gift certificates will be accepted at The Green Light Diner and the restaurant now sells dual MorMor/Green Light Diner gift certificates.
