POULSBO — Free income tax preparation is available now through April 15 in North Kitsap through the AARP Tax Aide Program.

Help is available at Martha & Mary on Thursdays, 1-5 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on a first come, first served basis.

Help is available at the Little Boston Elder Center, behind the library, Mondays and Tuesdays, 1-5 p.m.

For either site, bring last year’s income tax return, photo ID, and Social Security cards for all persons on the return, and all records of income and deductible expenses or credits. There are some types of returns that the sites cannot do — rental income, depreciation, farm income, complex business returns and a limited number of credits.
