POULSBO — The Taprock Grill converted into an Elmer’s restaurant within a week. Staff practiced with the new menu during a soft opening on Jan. 31.

Hosts, wait staff and cooks tested the new Elmer’s fare with an invite-only guest list during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Elmer’s CEO Jerry Scott visited with staff and guests during the soft opening. The restaurant will officially open under its new name on Feb. 2.
