Jak’s serving up gluten-free days

Emily’s Bistro changes hours

Emily’s Bistro has added new menu items to their healthy options for breakfast.

In addition, the bistro’s hours have changed to 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. It also offers catering services for corporate and private events. Delivery and venue rental for events also are available. Emily’s Bistro is located at 19472 Powder Hill Place, Suite, 101.

It’s time to take down the decorations

Volunteers are welcome to help take down the holiday decorations in downtown Poulsbo. The holiday takedown will be on Jan. 25.

Volunteers will gather at 7:30 a.m. at Checkers. The work is expected to continue until 9 to 9:30 a.m. When the work is complete, volunteers will meet at the intersection of Jensen and Front Streets for a photo with Embarq volunteers. To participate, dress warm and bring work gloves and garden tools. The event will be a go, rain, snow or shine. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Peninsula Hearing has new location

Peninsula Hearing has a new location within the same building they have occupied for nearly 14 years at 19319 7th Ave in Poulsbo. They have moved from suite No. 114 to suite No. 102. The new office is more spacious and will allow Peninsula Hearing Inc. to further help their patients hearing needs with new technologies. One room has been specifically designed for testing television and phone hearing enhancement devices so patients can try them right in the office. Megan Nightingale, Au.D., and her staff will host an open house from 1-5 p.m. on Jan. 23 1-5 p.m. Their new entrance is directly across from the Group Health building. Orbea Sign Co. opens in Poulsbo

Mollie (Thomas) and Pete Orbea have opened the doors of their new sign shop, Orbea Sign Co., at 2228, Suite B, Stottlemeyer Road NE, Poulsbo, located just off of Bond Road / State Route 307 within the North Kitsap Services business park. She has seven years experience in the sign production industry. He has worked in retail sales management, construction and in the sign production industry.
