First time home buyer class offered
Windermere Real Estate/West Sound Inc. and Guild Mortgage Company in conjunction with the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC) is offering a free first time home buyer education class at 11 a.m., Feb. 21 at the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce,19351 8th Ave. in Poulsbo.
This five-hour class is required for first time home buyers to take advantage of state sponsored assistance programs.
You will learn about the many programs available through State and County agencies to assist first time home buyers.
Help is usually in the form of below market interest rates and/or down payment assistance. Also covered in the class are; the home buying process, lending and credit scores, budgeting, the pros and cons of home ownership, home inspections, escrow and title insurance, agency law and much more.

The Peninsula Farmers Market is open year-round at the Island Jamz Caribbean Restaurant, 1783 NE State Highway 308 in Keyport.
