Free fishing derby Saturday in Poulsbo

The Poulsbo Noon Lions Club is hosting a “Hooked on Fish Derby” for children ages 11 and younger from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
It will be at the horticulture pond behind Poulsbo Middle School.
The event is free, and bait is provided. Fishing poles and gear are available on a first-come basis. Those with their own poles are encouraged to bring them.
The pond has been stocked with about 400 rainbow trout. Parents are encouraged to help, but not fish.
Complimentary fish cleaning available. Face masks are required.
