Robert Davy will begin a four-year term as Poulsbo Municipal Court judge starting Jan. 1, 2026.

The Poulsbo City Council approved the appointment of Robert Davy to be the city’s new Municipal Court judge, effective Jan. 1, 2026, at its Nov. 19 meeting.

The appointment is a four-year term that runs through 2029.

Davy was previously judge pro tem for Kitsap County District and Municipal Courts since 2016 and was also Kitsap County deputy prosecuting attorney from 2008-15. He graduated from Western Washington University and received his law degree from Seattle University.

“I look forward to serving with integrity and with compassion for all those who come before the court,” Davy said during the council meeting. “I’m very excited.”

Poulsbo Municipal Court’s previous judge was Jeff Tolman, who retired earlier this year after 31 years in the position. Maureen McKeeman is serving as the interim judge through the remainder of the year.
