NK golfer Matix Thorne made an eagle on his birthday on the final hole of the Bainbridge-NK golf match March 27 at the Wing Point Golf and Country Club on BI.

Anderson Wicklund’s one over par score of 37 through nine holes led the Bainbridge Spartans (2-0) to a 161-181 win over the North Kitsap Vikings (3-2) March 27 at the Wing Point Golf & Country Club on BI.

“Great round from Anderson,” Bainbridge coach Dominic Lacie said.

A highlight for the visitors was Matix Thorne getting an eagle on the last hole.
