Bainbridge

Coach: Dan Pippinger

Key returners: Seniors Garrett Goade and Wyatt Chabot

Outlook: Bainbridge returns nearly half of its starting lineup, including a couple of state wrestlers.

North Kitsap

Coach: Robert Gomez

Key returners: Seniors Morgan Scott Paul and Benjamin Gomez, and junior Zakaria Hammou

Outlook: NK lost one of its top wrestlers in recent history. But the Vikings return nearly the rest of their state qualifiers and reloaded with some younger wrestlers too.

Schedule: Dec. 2 at White River; Dec. 15-16, Hammerhead Invitational; Jan. 10, 7 pm at North Mason; Jan. 24, 7 pm at Port Angeles

Kingston

Coach: Casey Nelson

Key returners: Seniors Gavin Garner and Jackson Glammeier

Outlook: Kingston was a very young last year, but it hopes to use that experience to improve this season.

Bremerton

Coach: Ty Michaelson

Key returner: Senior Lars Michaelson

Outlook: Bremerton lost one Michaelson brother but returns the younger one for his senior campaign. The Knights will still be a top team.

Olympic

Coach: Tim Aiken

Key returners: Senior Miles Brown, junior Kevin Hudson and sophomore Xion Horne

Outlook: Olympic returned to the state championships with three wrestlers after failing to qualify any Trojans the previous season. None of their qualifiers has graduated.

Schedule: Dec. 15-16, Hammer Head Tournament; Jan. 17, 7 pm, Kingston; Jan. 24, 7 pm at North Mason

Central Kitsap

Coach: Mike Schmitt

Key returners: Seniors Nate Cronin and Carter Chadwick

Outlook: CK lost three of its five state wrestlers. However, the Cougars have solid wrestlers throughout, including Cronon at 106 pounds and Chadwick at 132.

Klahowya

Key returners: Senior Deacon Wintch and sophomore Carson Wintch

Outlook: Klahowya returns half of its state wrestlers, including the Wintch brothers. In addition, the Eagles have added some depth.

Key returners: Seniors Chase Eaglin, Stone Hartford and Logan Allinson

Outlook: SK’s two state champion wrestlers graduated. However, the Wolves return six state qualifiers and still plan to dominate the SPSL.
