Harmony Tyson was one of a few Bucs to score against the Roughriders.

Kingston was held to 26 points or less for its fifth-straight game falling to Port Angeles 53-22 Jan. 5.

Despite dealing with offensive woes, junior Jayla Moon attempted to give the Buccaneers some hope with her shots from the perimeter. Moon was one of three Kingston players to score in the game, and the only one with multiple baskets. The other scorers were Tatiana Fontes-Lawrence with six points and Harmony Tyson with two.

Moon skyrocketed a three-pointer in the first quarter to give Kingston its only points in the first eight minutes, trailing 13-3 going into the second quarter. In addition, Moon was the only Buc to score in the third quarter with another three-pointer from the right wing.

Roughrider Paige Mason led the winners with 11 points. But Moon kept draining three-pointers, making five of them and ending with 15 points. Moon played her best at the end when the Buccaneers trailed 40-14. She made two of her five three-point shots in the final few minutes.
