PORT ORCHARD — Wednesday will be another day of strange noises eminating from across Sinclair Inlet. That’s because Naval Base Kitsap-Naval Security Forces teams will be conducting another training session late this afternoon.

The naval security teams will be using blank ammunition on Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton during their training exercises, scheduled to take place between 5 and 6 p.m.

Naval Base Kitsap, which is the largest naval organization in the Navy’s Northwest region, routinely conducts similar tests throughout the year.
