PORT ORCHARD — You better watch out, you better not cry. Port Orchard City Council members and Mayor Rob Putaansuu will be out and about checking your holiday spirit.

Council members and the mayor plan to take their annual tour of the city to track down the business, residential neighborhood and residence with the most-est of the Christmas spirit. They will depart (by sleigh?) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16 to survey the Port Orchard landscape for top awards this holiday season.

The public is invited to ride along, according to the city clerk’s office, but hopeful hop-alongs need to RSVP with the city clerk by calling 360-876-4407 or emailing cityhall@cityofportorchard.us no later than 3 p.m. on Dec. 12.
