No-contact advisory issued for Appletree Cove due to sewage spill

On Wednesday the Kitsap Public Health District issued a 21-day no-contact order for Appletree Cove in Kingston due to a sewage spill.

The affected areas are Appletree Cove, Carpenter Creek estuary and the vicinity of the Kingston Ferry Terminal.

The public is advised to avoid contact with the water in the affected areas. Signs have been posted at public access points in the area.
