Special Black Friday schedule announced for Kingston’s M/V Finest

Those hoping to do some Black Friday shopping in Seattle this year will have a new option for getting to the Emerald City with special sailings of Kitsap Transit’s new passenger only ferry.

Kitsap Transit is calling the event on Nov. 23, “Finest Friday,” named after the ferry servicing the route, M/V Finest. Fares will be waived for all of the sailings, in fact, Kitsap Transit recently tweeted that riders will sail for free for the rest of 2018.

One-day-only departures from Kingston, bound for Seattle will be at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Departures from Seattle, bound for Kingston will be at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
