CROSS COUNTRY

Head coach: Ed Santos

Girls top runners: Paxton DePoe, Sr.; Kristina Ihlen, Sr.; Eugenia Palko, Sr.; Evelyn Collins-Wynn, so.; Casandra Hebert, Sr.; Emma Orser, so.; Rachel Sieck, Sr.; Ciara Najera, Jr.

Boys top runners: Zach Grams, Sr.; Jacob Laws, Jr.; Kevin McDermott, Sr.; Shawn Clough, Sr.; Jacob Simon, Sr.; Devon Keyt, Sr.; Mark VanDoornik, Sr.

Outlook: It could be a special year for both teams, but especially the girls, who finished sixth at state last year and return every single one of their top runners. The boys placed 13th at state last year and certainly look primed to improve upon that as well. League and district titles are in reach for both teams as well.

Oct. 10, TBD, The Twilight (Lincoln HS)

Oct. 18, 5 p.m., SPSL Championships (Ft. Steilacoom)
