Highway 3 accident north of Poulsbo cleared

BREIDABLICK — Highway 3 was shutdown in both directions for about an hour this morning as crews cleaned up a multi-car accident that occurred north of Tytler Road.

The Poulsbo Fire Department reported a head-on collision had taken place between multiple vehicles, one of which was a semi truck.

Thus far, only minor injuries have been reported. Two patients, a man who appeared to be in his 30s and a female who appeared to be in her 60s, declined transportation to a hospital, according to the Poulsbo Fire Department Facebook page.

The highway is now open.
