POULSBO — Tara Battaglia received the Leo of the Year award for Lions Multiple District 19 from Past Council Chairman Enoch Rowland during a fall ceremony.

This is the highest Leo award possible; only 38 were given in the world.

Tara was a member of the North Kitsap Vikings Leo Club in 2016-17 and was selected for her leadership and service. Leo clubs work with local Lions clubs and encourage youth to develop leadership skills by participating in community service.
