Rainy weather jeopardizes road conditions

POULSBO — As the rain steadily falls, parts of town are flooding.

Stormwater was coming up through manholes in some parts of town Jan. 21, and water was overflowing onto some town roads. On 8th Avenue, the south fork of Dogfish Creek was overwhelming a culvert and threatening to overflow. At the intersection of NE Iverson Road and 7th Avenue, the creek overflowed onto the street.

Front Street showed no signs of flooding at 4 p.m.
