Seven people were injured in a two-vehicle T-bone crash at the intersection of Northlake Way NW and Seabeck Hwy NW on Oct 23.
The adult female driver of a white Honda Civic was extricated from the vehicle and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Her 13-year-old son was treated for minor injuries.
The Civic was stopped and facing south at a stop sign on Northlake Highway near the intersection of Seabeck Highway just before the crash occurred at 9:08 p.m.
The Civic then pulled out and crashed into a silver Honda Odyssey that was traveling northbound on Northlake Highway.
The five occupants of the Odyssey — including a man, a woman and three children — suffered minor injuries.
Investigators said all the occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts. There was no indication that alcohol or drugs were a factor.
The driver of the Civic was cited for failure to yield.
Deputies from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office and medics from Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue responded to the crash.
