POULSBO — Downtown Poulsbo will be the scene of the second Anti-Prohibition Beer March, Saturday at 6 p.m., beginning at Mor Mor Bistro and ending at City Hall.

Participation is open to the public.

Prohibition ended in December 1933. Tammy Mattson, owner of Hare & Hounds Pub and Tizley’s Europub, said the beer march celebrates President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s order to end Prohibition, which he signed in April 1933.

Mattson established the march last year.

The march is based on a photo taken in 1933, which showed men in suits marching with “We Want Beer” picket signs.
