Meet 6th CD candidate Driscoll on Saturday

PORT ORCHARD — Meet Bill Driscoll, candidate for the 6th Congressional District seat, Saturday, 4 p.m., at McCormick Woods Golf Course.

The meet and greet will be held in The Clubhouse Restaurant’s upstairs west meeting room. Refreshments will be provided.

The event is co-sponsored by state Rep. Jan Angel, R-Port Orchard.

Driscoll is a retired Marine Corps officer. He works in management at Weyerhaeuser, which was founded by his great-grandfather.

Driscoll faces state Sen. Derek Kilmer, D-Gig Harbor, in the Nov. 6 general election.
