BREMERTON — Meet District 1 County Commission candidate Chris Tibbs July 7, 9 a.m. to noon, at Arena Sports Bar & Grill in Bremerton.

Tibbs, sales manager for Ootopia Coffee Roasters, is a Republican. He is a former member of the county’s budget advisory committee and is one of two candidates for the District 1 position. The other candidate is incumbent Rob Gelder, Democrat.
