Whitman McLeod and Hansville General Store has donated a number of items for various events sponsored by the center and has volunteered his time. He also prepares food for the center’s monthly Neighbors Lunch.
Attendees ratified the slate of officers for the community center board: Judy Tallman, president; Fred Nelson, past president; Mike Bryant, treasurer; Sharon Siefer, secretary; Connie Gordon, membership vice president; Lois Lee, community affairs vice president; and trustees Don Lynch, Becky Weinbaum and Chuck Strahm.

On behalf of the Greater Hansville Community Center, Nelson presented an award to Hansville Postmaster Chuck Cox, who is retiring. Lee said Cox has provided “very personalized service to his customers” and supported a staff that is “humane and friendly.”
