Bremerton man gets five years in prison for stolen firearm under car hood

A 27-year-old Bremerton man was sentenced to five years in prison Aug. 24 in U.S. District Court in Tacoma for felony possession of a firearm.
David Glenn Harrison was arrested in June 2009 after police discovered a stolen hand gun in a battery box under his car’s hood. He was charged with felony possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Harrison was connected to multiple Kitsap County burglaries involving the theft of guns, electronics and jewelry.
Harrison has three felony convictions as an adult, including unlawful possession of a firearm and malicious placement of an explosive.
