Kevin C. Fredericksen

Dec. 2, 1958 – Oct. 25, 2016

After a heroic battle with cancer, Kevin Conrad Fredericksen died Oct. 25, 2016 at his home in Poulsbo, Washington at the age of 57.  

Kevin was born on Dec. 2, 1958 in Bremerton, Washington to Ann and Allan Fredericksen. He was raised primarily in Poulsbo in the home his paternal great- grandparents built after immigrating from Norway.  

Kevin attended North Kitsap schools and graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1977. He spent 30 years working on the Seattle waterfront as a longshoreman with the ILWU. He was well respected on the waterfront and was known as a legendary crane operator.  

Kevin loved baseball. He played softball for years and watched every game the Seattle Mariners played. He was happy with their record this year!

In 1992, Kevin married Camille Convy at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Suquamish, Washington. Kevin was a loving husband and dedicated father to his sons. His family meant everything to him. 

Kevin is survived by his wife, Camille; sons Luke, Jarek and Jesse; his parents, Allan and Ann Fredericksen, Poulsbo; his sister, Cindy (Mike) Rice, Riverside, Washington; his brothers, Matt Fredericksen, Poulsbo; Andy (Amy) Fredericksen, Poulsbo; Charlie (Jenn) Fredericksen, Poulsbo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 at St. Peter’s Church in Suquamish. The mass will be preceded by a rosary at 9:30 a.m. There will be a graveside service at Poulsbo Cemetery following the funeral mass. There will be a reception following the burial and details will be announced at the mass.
