Week 4 Olympic League Football Roundup

Central Kitsap 55, Bainbridge 26

The Cougars’ balanced offensive unit scored three touchdowns in the second quarter to break open this game, running their record to 3-1 this season. Running back Joshua Willis led Central Kitsap with 190 yards and a touchdown and Kalai Pasi and Kouper Hall each had a pair of ground scores. Pasi also threw two touchdown passes, giving him a total of four in the game. Bainbridge quarterback Gabriel Todd threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns; his favored target was Cal Breen who had seven receptions for 145 yards and a score. Breen also had 59 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

North Kitsap 41, Bremerton 7

Vikings quarterback Colton Bower accounted for 500 yards of total offense as North Kitsap preserved its unbeaten season at Bremerton Memorial Stadium. Bower threw for 407 yards and rushed for 102 and had four touchdown passes, one each to Aiden King, Lincon Castillo, Logan Sloman and Jaxson Gore. The Knights lone touchdown came on a 2-yard run from Jayden Quenga in the second half.

Olympic 21, Sequim 12

Trojans running back Trent Feistner had a field day Saturday afternoon, rushing for 211 yards and two touchdowns in Olympic’s mildly surprising win over Sequim. The ground attack led the way as Kamano Ruis also chipped in 91 yards and a score on 14 carries. Ruis also had a 64-yard reception. Olympic led 14-0 at halftime and took a 21-6 lead on Feistner’s second score of the game.

Klahowya 40, East Jefferson 6

Damon Clarke and Phillip Powell each threw touchdown passes for the Eagles as they routed East Jefferson. Running back Hunter Wallis took care of things on the ground with 177 yards on 23 carries and Jacob Manavie led Klahowya with 45 receiving yards.

Port Angeles 40, Kingston 7

The Bucs couldn’t corral Port Angeles’s running game in a contest up on the Olympic Peninsula on Saturday. Daniel Afton rushed for 144 yards on 16 carries and Kade Claymore had the only touchdown of the game for Kingston in the third quarter. Kyler Coe-Yarr pulled down an interception late in the first half.
