Bainbridge

2021 record: 12-4 (12-2 in league)

Key players: Senior Megan Hauschild, and juniors Gabby Weis and Avery Pujolar

Outlook: Bainbridge is coming off a league title and returning some of its top goal scorers, including Pujolar and Weis. Nearly the entire midfield and defense is returning as seniors, making them even stronger than last season.

Outlook: The Knights lost a lot of experience despite finishing seventh in the Olympic League last year. The team will be young, having lost seven seniors, but their younger roster will set them up for years to come.

Outlook: Central Kitsap will have to fill some big shoes on the offensive side, losing four all-league selections from last year. However, CK returns three all-league selections, including Reece, Smith and Remnet. The team will have a tough first few games against Peninsula, Bainbridge, North Thurston and Gig Harbor. Afterward, they can move forward to a potential playoff push.

Outlook: Kingston only lost three girls. This season looks to have a handful of seniors. Therefore, Kingston has the opportunity to rebuild for the long run.

Outlook: Klahowya was 12th in state last year, including every division. That squad returns all its key players, including Nisqually League MVP Lyons and Offensive Player of the Year Peters. On defense, Ella Bottalico is back at goalie after averaging 0.1 goals against her per game. Klahowya could be the best team in the state.

Outlook: North Kitsap should be considered a darkhorse in the Olympic League and District 2/3 2A Championships. After an improbable run last season, the Vikings return nearly every player, including three of their four seniors and every defender.
