TOP RETURNING PLAYERS: Juliana Ignacio, junior; Zoie Matheny, junior; Brilee Triggs, junior.

KEY NEWCOMERS: Emily Dixon, freshman; Nya Hudson, junior; Carmen Macanas, freshman; Sarah Nelson, freshman.

OUTLOOK: The Olympic High School girls golf team finished fourth in the state tournament last season and they’re looking to repeat as league champions. Despite losing half of her athletes to graduation, head coach Laurie Shaw is optimistic the Trojans will again be a competitive team. Under Shaw, all six athletes finished 16th or better in the league’s match scoring average rankings.
