Olympic Fastpitch

Head coach: Jessica Cabato

2018 record: 18-6 (10-2)

Key players: Dani Snyder, sr., pitcher; Morgan Kroesser, sr., pitcher; Molly Gates, jr., second base/outfield; Sadie Chipley, outfield/shortstop; Elissa Turnquist, so., outfield; Allannah Mitchell, sr., outfield.

Outlook: The Trojans lost the top of their lineup, left side of their infield and catcher to graduation, but should still remain a very potent offense this year led by Gates, who hit .645 with six home runs and 38 RBI last season. Snyder and Kroesser were the team’s top two pitchers on last year’s state team and bring with them plenty of experience and talent. If they can fill those important defensive positions as well, it should be another solid year and good playoff run for the defending Olympic League champions.
