North Kitsap’s Zac Olmsted wins league MVP

For the second year in a row, North Kitsap point guard Zac Olmsted has been named the most valuable player of the 2A Olympic League, as voted upon by league coaches.

The senior guard and Carleton College commit has averaged over 20 points per game in the postseason and has led North Kitsap to a district championship and state tournament berth.

Joining Olmsted on the first team is his teammate and fellow guard Kai Warren along with Olympic’s Jaiden Mosley and Evan Turnquist while Olympic big man Keaton Dean made it to the second team.

On the girls side, North Kitsap’s Olivia Selembo and Raelee Moore, Kingston’s Karleigh Gomez and Lily Beaulieu and Olympic’s Kiki Mitchell made up the entire all-league first team, with the exception of league MVP Emilia Long.

Vikings senior center Erin Pearson and sophomore guard Noelani Barreith were tapped for the second team along with Kingston senior Avy Hiner.
