Klahowya volleyball | Fall Sports Preview

Head coach: Wendy Kraft

2017 record: 7-9 (5-4)

Key players: Rachel Bailey, jr., setter; Chloe Settle, jr., middle hitter; Taylor Bruce, sr., outside hitter; Maile Lueck, jr., libero; Katie Cooper, so., middle hitter; Grace Christensen, sr., right side hitter.

Outlook: A number of young players received significant playing time last season — three seniors graduated the program and only one was a full-time starter. As is typical of young teams, the Eagles were up and down at times last season and should be more consistent this year. Christensen is a new addition as a transfer from Virginia who should give Klahowya another scoring threat. Look for this team to contend at districts once again and possibly get to state.
