Kingston Baseball | Spring Sports Preview

Head coach: Abe Lupkin

2017 record: 6-7, 8-8

Top returning players: SS Ethan Sax, Sr.; CF Gage Updegrove, Sr.; P/IF/OF Tim Melzer, Jr.; P/IF/OF Jack Hermanson, So.

Outlook: If you can pitch, you can win games, and Kingston has two pretty solid arms in Melzer and Hermanson. Kingston should be better than last year’s .500 record, especially if they can score enough runs to support their pitching staff. The Olympic League will be very competitive this year, but the Bucs can be considered a dark horse in the race.
