SPOKANE — The Crosspoint Academy girls will play for fourth- and sixth place at the Class 1B Hardwood Classic after they whipped SeaTac League rival Evergreen Lutheran, 42-25, in a loser-out consolation game March 6 at Veteran’s Memorial Arena.
It was the Warriors’ fifth win over Evergreen this season, including two win in regular season play and two in the playoffs. Crosspoint’s biggest win against the Eagles was a 73-33 win on Jan. 12.
The Warriors will play the winner of the Mary M. Knight-Pateros at 8 a.m. March 7. A win would give Crosspoint a fourth-place trophy to bring home and sixth place if they lose.
